Noble Peace Prize

I suppose you've all heard the news!

I have been awarded the Noble Peace Prize for my efforts to end hunger in Antarctica. Since my "Meals without Seals" campaign began in 1999, there are now millions fewer hungry Antarctican children, who would otherwise be eating seal everyday of their lives.

I want to thank my parents and my dog, without whose efforts I could not have helped anyone.

I thank you all!

(Notice: Son3 didn't win anything, because he didn't actually give sealess meals to Antarctican children, as there are no children in Antarctica, just a few, adventurous scientists. There is also no such thing as a "Noble Peace Prize"; he made it up. Obama did nothing to deserve a Nobel Peace Prize. Not that I lend any credence to the Nobel Peace Prize. I think he should have gotten the Goober Peas Prize, because that sounds funnier.)

There's no way you could have got a Noble Peace Prize...to get that you've got to have been approved by the Nobelity. :P

(could I sink any lower? lol)

LOL!! Hilarious post!
I just heard about Obama being awarded the Nobel Peace Prize half an hour ago. When I saw your post, my first thought was, "Wow! that was fast!" As my dad, and Rush I believe, were saying, the only thing he did to promote peace was to make America weak. Bleh.
I think it's a tradition for American presidents to get this "Prize".

Thank you, gentlemen!

It's the kind, Christian folks like yourselves that keep me bloggin'!

Just another nail in the coffin for the credibility of the Nobel Peace Prize.

I hate to inform you that your prize has been rescinded due to the statement from the Antarctica Department of Health that your efforts to protect the seals has now created such an overpopulation that seal flu is now in a pandemic stage and may reduce the million plus Antarctic population back to just hundreds. Tough luck Son3. There is alway the hope for an Oscar like Al Gore for your documentary at the Arctic Circle titled, "What Global Warming, It's still Frickin Cold Here!"

Are you kidding? Furthering the dehumanists' depopulationist agenda is enough to make me President of the World!

Or better yet... Chairman of the Council on Foreign Relations!

I think it should be called the "Noble Socialist Peace Prize".

I like this quote from Obamafile: The bloom was off the Nobel Rose when they gave the thing to Yasser Arafat.

Don't forget to call, email, or otherwise contact your senator and representative to urge them to vote AGAINST the healthcare bill. Thanks!

Nothing I say or do could affect the opinions of men who already have their minds made up.

That is, short of warning them of '76.

Don't be lazy now! :)

REPEAT

The Congress is corrupt, deceptive, and refuses to acknowledge the validity of the Constitution; they will vote however they want to vote, regardless of my personal feelings.

I wish your plan would work, but sorry, it won't.

Nothing short of the spirit of '76 will snap them back into line, Johann.

What's a '76?
It's still worth a try calling and such.

Gotta do something. The silent majority can no longer remain silent.

Them voting however they want is no excuse for you not making yourself heard.

Why don't you give a shout-out to Hugo Chavez while you're at it?

This whole blithering country is going down the tubes, and it takes a lot of high hopes to expect our country to stop degrading if we but voice our opinion.

Do you realize how far we are past the point of no return?

The Congress has the votes to get Obamacare passed, and then some; the whole furor right now is about bipartisanship.

Did America become free by writing their delegates to the British Parliament? No, they tried that for several years before finally realizing it does no good at all.

"In every stage of these Oppressions We have Petitioned for Redress in the most humble terms: Our repeated Petitions have been answered only by repeated injury. A Prince whose character is thus marked by every act which may define a Tyrant, is unfit to be the ruler of a free people."

~Declaration of Independence

There is a lot of talk lately about the founders, the Revolution, and getting back to the Constitution... and that's all it is, talk.

I don't care if they defeat every tyrannical bill from healthcare to martial law, this insanity won't end in a vote!

All the time, these hellions are crafting more and more and more and more and more and more and more and more and more evil, hateful, deceptive, sneaky, skulking, wretched, spiteful, destructive, un-American, un-Constitutional rot for legislation, and the best thing you can think of is to call them?

Why do you think they get away with this stuff?

Because the worst thing they have to look forward to is an impolite phone call or a strongly worded letter.

Maybe even a tea party! *Gasp*

P.S. '76 was the year our Declaration of Independence was signed, thus officially declaring a full-on revolt.

Johann Van De Leeuw said...

Don't get me wrong, I agree with you about '76. I'm just saying, let's do all we can while there's still peace. I'm all for tea parties, and I do intend to attend them whenever possible. I'm all for marches on Washington, and am hoping to attend the 2nd Amendment march in April. (Google it? I'll give you a link). The whole reason I brought this up was because I was sending emails to every member of the Senate Committee for Finance, to vote AGAINST healthcare. Yes, I even sent one to Rockefeller. (My home state. How ironic).

Here here! I agree. But that doesn't mean we should stop doing those. The whole point behind those things is to send a mass message.
We all gotta do our part, even if it seems pointless; even if it is beyond a doubt pointless. Just remember; save your money for ammunition. There is a time and place for these things; it is fast approaching the time for hot lead rather than hot words. Violent? You bet. It's the spirit of '76. No compromise. LIBERTY OR DEATH, DON'T TREAD ON ME!!!
I'm with you all the way Son3; I just want to see us utilize what peaceable means left to us while we can. Not that I think they'll do much good. We, or at least I, should have been doing this long ago. Before we set aside the pen for the trigger, let's make a final effort. The storm is about to break. Make use of your free speech while you can.

On another note, let me say this:
I will use force to defend my family's safety, and our collective liberty, no matter WHAT the cost.
We are indeed past the point of no return. Do you have someone covering your back?

Dylan John Callahan said...

It's all good, Johann.

Use your freedom of redress of grievances while it's legal, and while it's not.

Same goes for every right.

Rights are rights, recognized or not.

Distracted by issues more present and pressing, I'm late to this thread but have nothing of import to add. Never let that stop me from chattering.

In theory, I agree heartily with Johann. In practice, I abstain. Realizing I'm easy to peg by my online presence, delivering my name or address to the king on a platter won't happen. I want Them to at least have to work a little for it.

Moreover, I'd rather be snuffed for standing for the kingdom of God than for any earthly nation.

It was a sad (and perhaps turning) day when women won voting privileges. We were not created to lead men or bear such heavy burdens as they. In fact, we are prohibited from doing so. We're silly.

As for my people, children are their oppressors, and women rule over them. O my people, they which lead thee cause thee to err, and destroy the way of thy paths. Isaiah 3:12
