I hate to break it to you, WND and friends, but Jesus didn't get dumped out of the manger, as Jesus wasn't on the median in Michigan. That was a fake. Not real.

And I hate to break it to you, Freedom from Religion Foundation, you don't have the Constitutional point you think you do. Close, but no cigar... or whatever it is you've been smoking.

Firstly, I don't see the big deal about Jesus being a baby, anyway. Oddly, "Baby Jesus" has much more importance and appeal than the "Son of God" in our culture. This is probably due to the baubles and toys associated with the statuettes of unclothed children in December, as opposed to that whole "eternal life" and morality deal with the actual Jesus Christ. Who wants that? *raises hand*

So, the idea of "nativity scenes" has me scratching my Xmas-bashing noggin, but it was a free country, so you can do whatever you want.

The other side of this is the FRF's point about a separation of church and state, the ideology of which, in its original sense, I strongly agree. Now, these people seem to think the First Amendment, which states, in part, "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof...," somehow becomes, "No person is allowed to freely exercise their religion in public."

While I don't see how putting a nativity scene in public is exercising one's religion, I also don't see how it harms anyone, unless the case is made that it is an obstruction, distraction, etc.

The First Amendment really applies nowhere here, in my opinion.

This is different from my opinion concerning, say, public prayer, which is absolutely protected, even if the act is being done by a civil servant. No matter what religion, including that of Secularism, there can be no Congressional law abridging or preferring it. Congress is to abstain from all matters regarding religion.

Under the 10th Amendment, the door is open for decisions by governments both state and local, or by the people. Being a member of the latter group, in the event of a Muslim exercising his right to pray publicly, I would use my right to free speech to discuss and argue my points concerning the fallibility of his religion, and promote my own. No federal court case needed.

The Czar-Mangled Banner

Ugly, but legal.

World Net Daily has posted on this story about these flags being sold on eBay, pondering the possible legal action for defacing the flag, but it is fruitless.

First off, the U.S. Flag Code is one of the few federal laws that really is a suggestion. There is no penalty for violations of the code, save for a few state or local ordinances, which usually include fines.

Here's the deal: if the people making these flags are manufacturing them themselves, instead of buying the flags and silk-screening Herr Obama's face on the canton, then there is no violation; if it don't have fifty stars, it ain't a U.S. flag, and is thus exempt from the restrictions of the code.

It's a whole other story if they are truly defacing U.S. flags, but like I said, the penalties would be subject to the local law enforcement's discretion.

The dimensions of the flag are also important. The flag pictured, I would hazard to guess, is about 3:5 and the U.S. flag is defined as being 10:19; that, too, is important.

What would it mean if one flew that flag upside-down, I wonder...

A newcomer to the Information War, Invisible Empire, created by the same people that made Endgame and The Obama Deception, looks to be a very informational and interesting chronicling of our times and how we got here. This preview contains much of a speech by John Fitzgerald Kennedy, who was, I believe, our last true President.

In this Information War, there are many selfless men who have placed their lives and fortunes in harm's way to help our side win, which is the side of goodness and humanity; I feel there is no such thing as a "small part" in this InfoWar. These are the "InfoWarriors".

I am a Christian, and am not so much required as I am compelled by my Faith to warn and help direct my fellow Christians and fellow man toward Saving Knowledge. I am as incapable of saving as I am incapable of leading to that end, as I can merely help. Wretchedly as I do this, I try.

I would see a person as a miserable creature, lower than dust, if they did not grab a man by the arm who did not see the bus speeding down the road, or did not warn that family next door, who had no means of communication, that a tornado had just touched down nearby.

So, too, would I hold equally as miserable a creature that slapped the helping hand off of his arm, or laughed at the man that warned of imminent danger, who, not caring to save his own family, would rather not entertain such an "impossibility".

I make no career of warning the masses; perhaps I should, but I do not. I see well-versed men taking up that role, putting aside their daily lives and lessening their time with their families; being so wrapped-up in saving our nation that they hardly have a life left for themselves. I help these men disseminate information when I can, this blog being a tool of that, and I ask you to do the same.

There was a time, during our country's beginnings, when men would drop their plows and pocketbooks and sign up to fight for a season while their country was at war. Some signed on with the Regulars as a permanent arm of military might; had every man joined the Regulars, though, there wouldn't have been men left at home to create a cultivated, well-kept, plenteous country worth the fight.

I am no InfoWarrior; perhaps, though, I am an InfoMilitiaman.

Why not investigate what you do not know to be fact? Why, instead of saying, "There is no 'New World Order'," do you not look into it for yourself? Why, instead of listening to men on TV tell you to believe or not believe something because you should trust them, do you not question that trust and investigate their claims?

O, We Privileged Few

According to this news report about public housing in Missouri, "...the House Financial Services Committee adopted an amendment to allow guns in public housing projects."

"Allow"? What do you mean by "allow"? How can a right be "allowed"?

A right cannot be "allowed", but a privilege can; that is exactly what Americans are indoctrinated to believe. Take for example the oft used phrase,"Driving is a privilege, not a right." What makes it a privilege? Why are we required to purchase licenses and permits for so many things? Concealed Carry Permits are supposed to be a hard-won victory by the American gun owner, despite some areas of the country revoking them, yet is it now necessary to buy one's rights from the government?

This fits right along side Sotomayor's confirmation hearing, in which, during the opening remarks by Senators, one Democrat mentioned "the right to bear arms" in a list of laws that are less than clear in their possible interpretations.

Such ambiguity! There is, for some strange reason, so much debate over this sentence that the same offices that once instated this law, under new management, now reject it.

I have carried myself back to the time when the Constitution was adopted, I have recollected the spirit manifested in the debates, and I have conformed to the probable meaning in which it was passed.

And, in so doing, I hold to be a truth that the Second Amendment does not grant the right for individual, private citizens to keep and bear firearms without government interference on any level; rather, the Second Amendment guarantees it! No legislation can, by definition, grant any right, only declare it; rights lay dormant in every human being; nation, creed, or gender notwithstanding. One merely needs to exercise their rights for them to be made manifest.

Today, the intense corruption in our government has eroded beyond recognition our right to keep and bear arms, and we now subscribe to privileges, that may be regulated at a whim by a majority of non-representatives.

I now refer you to a spewing forth of opinion, left on a newspaper's website by an author unknown, the topic being a local ban on smoking in public. The full quote as written follows:

"It's a privelige.  Most of everything you have and do is not a right... Did anyone in Emporia actually finish school?"

This is the product of over one hundred years of compromising our standards and rights to appease tyrants and their misled progeny. The National Rifle Association, for instance, prides itself on compromise, and its members never question the fact that compromise includes "giving-in" from both sides of an argument.

I would suggest that our supposed privileges are few and far between, yet our rights are so many, that they border on being innumerable. We must stop compromising our freedom away, or we will face the consequences of tyrannies that are already upon us. Privileges are for subjects, but rights are for a free people.

Gloria Allred Loves Eugenicists

What sort of classless person must Gloria Allred be to proudly display such a button as this?

What kind of miserable person would display this? What despicable abominations must be going on in that woman's head? What sort of demonic forces must be at work in her soul?

Such evil. Many don't use the word "evil" anymore, at least not in the way it should be used. I never knew before seeing her with that button that Gloria Allred was that sort of an evil person. Does she love Josef Mengele with an equal affection?

I only hope she doesn't realize what she is saying with that button. I hope she will change her heart before she eventually leaves this earth.

Giving Back

This is a phrase heard quite often these days, mostly used by the Commies but ever increasingly used by Conservatives. It is so commonly heard that it is almost subconscious, like saying "thank you".

It is because it is used subconsciously by Conservatives that it is most dangerous.

You hear people say, "I've decided to give back to my community by...", but are they even hearing themselves?

Think about it, a person can "give back" something someone else gave to them, but what has a community given an individual? "Giving back" suggests that the individual owes his community.

This phrase follows the line of thought that "it takes a village to raise a child", a very Communistic point of view, and certainly something Americans should shy away from believing.

If it is the unchallenged opinion of a nation that it takes a village to raise a child, and that child must give back to the village if it succeeds, you have the perfect recipe for Communism to prosper in that nation. When it is the common opinion that one should "give back", especially when said in reference to any charitable activity, you are inevitably feeding the mentality of perpetual debt to others, especially the government, local, state, and national.

An individual owes nothing to his community, and anything he gives to that community is a one-way transaction, as the community did nothing to specifically cause that individual to succeed.

An individual does not owe, morally or otherwise, any portion of his time, money, or energy to his community.

What causes our Capitalist system to work at its finest is, of his own free will, an individual giving to people and organizations he favors, as that is the only "redistribution of wealth" that is moral and right.

"Giving back" is a silly and un-American term that should be purged from the American vocabulary.

Democracy at Work: Influenza Fuels Draconian Legislation

As stated in the story previously posted here, a democracy will do anything to remain safe and secure. Introduced and passed unanimously by the Massachusetts Senate, S18 will institute martial law in the event of an influenza outbreak.

According to this new bill, the the Commonwealth of Massachusetts will be given power:

(1) to require the owner or occupier of premises to permit entry into and investigation of the premises;

(2) to close, direct, and compel the evacuation of, or to decontaminate or cause to be decontaminated any building or facility, and to allow the reopening of the building or facility when the danger has ended;

(3) to decontaminate or cause to be decontaminated, or to destroy any material;

(4) to restrict or prohibit assemblages of persons;

(5) to require a health care facility to provide services or the use of its facility, or to transfer the management and supervision of the health care facility to the department or to a local public health authority;

(6) to control ingress to and egress from any stricken or threatened public area, and the movement of persons and materials within the area;

(7) to adopt and enforce measures to provide for the safe disposal of infectious waste and human remains, provided that religious, cultural, family, and individual beliefs of the deceased person shall be followed to the extent possible when disposing of human remains, whenever that may be done without endangering the public health;

(8) to procure, take immediate possession from any source, store, or distribute any anti-toxins, serums, vaccines, immunizing agents, antibiotics, and other pharmaceutical agents or medical supplies located within the commonwealth as may be necessary to respond to the emergency;

(9) to require in-state health care providers to assist in the performance of vaccination, treatment, examination, or testing of any individual as a condition of licensure, authorization, or the ability to continue to function as a health care provider in the commonwealth."

Common Sense: Comedy?

Though he and Lou Dobbs are pretty much the only watchable mainstream news people today, Glenn Beck often ticks me off, and he has done it once again.

Glenn, you just shouldn't take one of our nation's founding images and customize it to bill your comedy tour; neither should you take the title one of our nation's founding writings, Common Sense, and use it to promote stand-up routines. Lectures, perhaps, but not comedy tours.

The things spoken of in Common Sense aren't meant to be funny; men died for the ideology expressed in those papers. They were shot, stabbed, bayoneted, and slowly bled to death because they believed in what was written in Common Sense.

Also, the political image of the rattlesnake representing America, "Join or Die", is now a marketing ploy?

The Revolution wasn't funny to anyone back then, and probably wouldn't be today if anyone actually knew about it.

Why are Americans being drawn to the symbols of our Revolution? Because today we are assaulted daily by cold, heartless thugs, just as we were back then.

Eugenics, disarmament, un-Constitutionality, censorship, unlawful detainment, deception, over-taxation; these things are bringing those symbols and words of the Revolution back to their rightful prominence in the American mind; not for you to use as advertisement for your tacky comedy tour, but to remind Americans of our rocky, bloody, war-racked past, so that at least we can avoid allowing tyranny to come upon us while we sleep.

But no, Glenn, you don't want us to sleep and you don't want us to watch, you want us to laugh? This is no laughing matter.

This is the time when we are supposed to sober ourselves out of our drunken stupor and confront the enemies of Liberty on the ideological battlefield; you cannot do this on a comedy tour!

I'm sorely disappointed and ashamed of you, Glenn.

Provocateurs Pollute Protests, Posing as Peacful 'til They Pelt Police; Plus, Punks in Plymouth Plan to Pummel People with Plastic Playthings

(Preface: nothing here is April Fools stuff; I hold myself to a higher standard than that.)

The G20, an internationalist attempt at creating all the conditions and setting all the precedents of Global Governance, has its share of protests in Britain.

As you probably know, the protests are in full swing; and I say, "Right on!"

Because here's the thing, while I'm not an anarchist, which some of the protesters may be, I stand for the well-known saying, "Government governs best which governs least."

So, of course, I am absolutely committed to the permanent adjournment of any form of world government or even a semi-permanent international assembly.

I am therefore with the protesters on this one, as humans are endowed by their creator with the inalienable right of assembly and the right for a redress of grievances.

Now, to the meat of the issue.

It is no secret or "conspiracy theory" that the government, be it Great Britain, the U.S., or Canada, is against any protests and will do anything to stop them.

It has been thoroughly documented that there are, planted amongst the crowd, "agents provocateurs".

These are police or other governmental entities that have disguised themselves as protesters for the purpose of provoking violence from the crowd, though in some documented cases they simply gathering intelligence on who it is that is organizing and comprising the protests; they also have the purpose of demonizing the actual, peaceful protesters, who are then assumed to be violent by the media, who then demonize their message.

Provocateurs are being increasingly found out, such as was the case with the SPP protests in Canada, and the DNC protests in Colorado.

In the SPP's case, the protesters realized that the masked men throwing rocks at police, attempting to instigate a riot, were indeed policemen themselves, and thus tried to pull off their masks and expose them as such.

The provocateurs then sidled up to the police line and whispered a few words to one of the police in riot gear, who then "arrested" them and took them out of view.

The people exposing this outrage were called liars and conspiracy theorists for saying this, until the videos came out proving it.

In the similar case of the DNC, the Denver Police Department later admitted that they were indeed policemen, and it was all a planned operation.

Didn't hear that in the news, did you?

This is what to expect from the G20 protests, undoubtedly.

The police have already "uncovered a terrorist plot" against the G20 in Plymouth.

This plot was set to be so devastating that they had to bring in bomb disposal experts to disarm the plotters.

The five people, three men, aged 25, 19, and 16, plus two women, both 20, were apparently planning to raid the G20 with their expert knowledge of firearms and explosives. They are being held on terrorism charges.

Actually, that was yesterday's news, as it has since been discovered that their "arsenal" consisted of plastic cap-guns, and their "explosives" were actually fireworks; not to mention the "extremist material" which was also confiscated turned out to be writings "relating to political ideology".

This is sad, people.

So, please, whenever you see violent political protests, don't be so quick to judge the protesters there, because they may just be hijacked by policemen provocateurs.

(NOTICE: The moderator would once again wish to assure the reader that nothing in this post has anything to do with the antics of April 1st. The moderator does not advocate violent protests, as that's poor delivery of one's message. Neither does the moderator advocate storming meetings with cap-guns, as that really doesn't do anything, and fireworks are just pretty; except those stupid, boring snakes that don't make any noise or do anything but inflate into giant lengths of ash. That's probably what the Plymouth Plotters had for explosives, anyway: boring snakes. Sometimes cap-guns can be dangerous, as the little red strips of paper can catch on fire, causing copious amounts of smoke that can get in your eyes and nostrils and can be irritating. Actually, I just wanted to use the word "copious". There is also a strong smell of sulfur in the air that is sometimes appealing, as it smells like victory, especially when fighting imaginary Indians; though, it does nothing to bankers. "Mercy! They have cap-guns and fireworks! God Save the Queen!"

A Christian-American of Celtic Descent Dissents against Catholic-Irish Event

Anyone who knows me knows that I strive to be a Christian in the Biblical sense; that is, everything I believe should be proven to be true in the Bible.

Everything in the Bible is true, anything to the contrary notwithstanding; any question pertaining to doctrine can be supported or denied by Scripture, with each verse supporting the last, as there are, contrary to popular opinion, no contradictions in Scripture.

That said, I will try to explain my position on the oh, so popular celebration of Patrick's Day.

The full name of this event is called "Saint" Patrick's Day, but since the Catholic Church illegitimately claims Christianity, and Patrick was a Catholic bishop, I can't bring myself to calling the man a saint.

I absolutely love Irish music; the rhythm, the lyrics, and the tempo of the reels all appeal to my musical DNA. The same is true of Messianic Jewish music, but that's another post.

Other than the poor, misled Catholic sheeple who are herded off to Mass every March 17th, I don't know of anyone who cares about celebrating a dead Catholic priest. I think the whole draw of the thing is the beer and the music. As I think it's pointless to drink beer, I am drawn solely to the music at events all over the countryside and on television on Patrick's Day.

The muted tenor of uilleann pipes and the airy shrillness of Irish whistles playing the tunes of the Emerald Isle draw people of all descents. So does Guinness, but as I said, this has nothing to do with what I'm talking about.

So, what's a body to do, a Christian body, when you really don't want to celebrate Patrick, a dead Catholic priest, but you can't help but enjoy the rampant celebration of some decent music for a change?

Go ahead and listen to the sweet melodies of Ireland, watch the parade on TV, as parades are fun to watch, but do you really care about Patrick? Is Patrick worth celebrating?

I don't celebrate Patrick's Day. I make it a point to wear an un-green color. And why should I celebrate the guy? He only misled masses of people into a false, cult-like religion.

Have a Happy Irish Music Extravaganza Enjoyment Day, but, by all means, forget the dead Catholic guy, okay?

CPAC, CFR, and The Constitution

A great speech overall, but I have a few issues with it, and with the speaker.

First of all, you will notice in the second paragraph that he mentions the "inarguable truth" in the preamble to the U.S. Constitution that we are endowed by our creator with the inalienable rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

Before I continue, let me mention that he was awarded the "Defender of the Constitution" award.

The preamble to the Constitution, you know, the "We the People" document, doesn't say anything about life, liberty, or the pursuit of happiness; that's a quote from the Declaration of Independence.

Secondly, how can a man who talks to millions of people everyday, setting the opinion of those who would receive it (don't worry, I'm not a Fairness Doctrine crazy; I know he doesn't set public opinion), be given an award recognizing his "defense of the Constitution", and be lauded as a leader within the "conservative movement" when he puts out the disinformation that the Council on Foreign Relations does not exist.

The Council on Foreign Relations, which has been mentioned on mainstream news programming as actively functioning, is a think-tank for Globalism and one-world government. Many members are politicians such as, admittedly, Dick Cheney:

To understand the basics of the CFR, it requires a goodly amount of time, which I don't currently have, as it is late and I'm slightly cranky. *Smiles Weakly*

Arming the People at Large

ST. LOUIS — A city alderman frustrated with the police response to rising crime called Tuesday on residents to arm themselves to protect their lives and property. ~AP

Charles Troupe is a breath of fresh air to the lungs of our people; a government official that wants the people armed. A civil servant that doesn't want absolute authority, and one that gives heed to the Constitution and its framers' advice.

The state of affairs in St. Louis is appalling; the police have all but given up. They've put 911 on an automated answering-machine. Now, that's bad.

The legislatures of our local governments should understand the principles here; normally, the opposite is done.

Of course, Troupe has found opposition, amongst whom is St. Louis criminologist Richard Rosenfeld.

Mr. Rosenfeld, you might want to explain your opinion to the Holocaust survivors, violent crime victims, and the families of hostages that are taken and killed everyday all over the world.

Any man, woman, or child that espouses such un-American sentiments about disarming American citizens should be bitterly ashamed.

Beating Swords into Gift Cards

It appears as though the practice of "turning in" guns for worthless stuff has again returned to America.

Well, just south of Los Angeles, anyway. (There's a difference.)

From Compton, Calif., via CBS2.com:

"Authorities gave $100 gift cards to those turning in firearms and $200 for assault weapons.

The gift cards were redeemable at Best Buy, Target, Home Depot and Ralphs supermarkets."

"Saturday's event was at a Ralphs supermarket, 280 E. Compton Blvd., where the weapons were collected by sheriff's personnel and volunteers at a booth set up in the parking lot."

What's That Rumbling Noise?

I think it's about 1.5 million American patriots rolling over in their graves.

Why have we reached such a state of depravity that we are forced to choose between a Fascist and a Socialist for president? Why must we have a government made up of professional politicians and career-long criminals? Why has my country and its people crawled, walked, skipped and jumped down the path of moral depravity?

How is it that we have broken every rule and principle of Freedom, proudly defending every institution of modern slavery?

I don't even know what America used to look like; I'm too young to even know what it was like to live in a truly free society.

Too few people even know what "Republic" means. Too often, governments opposed to the idea of a free Republic use the word to describe their own country. (People's Republic of China, for one.)

What we have is a Federalized Constitutional Republic, but most Americans falsely call it a "Democracy". Only our elections are democratic.

A Democracy is rule by the people, but a Constitutional Republic is rule by law through representatives.

But, nobody cares. Nobody wants to care, anymore. There would be a national outcry if the voting on "American Idol" was rigged, but not if our own national elections were.

Those who realize the truth may only turn to God for the answer; others will turn to destruction.

In Defense of Free Speech

Alex Jones is a radio talk show host and documentary film maker based in Austin, Texas. He is a paleo-conservative, and he investigates political and social figureheads around America in order to uncover the inner workings of American and likewise global political structure.

While I don’t agree with him on many things, I do respect him and trust him as a news source. He claims and appears to be a Christian, and he frequently mentions the God of the Bible on his radio show.

Michelle Malkin is one of the people that Alex Jones has investigated, and he isn’t exactly thrilled about her.

Malkin wrote a book, “In Defense of Internment” in 2004, explaining why she thinks Americans should be put in camps due to their “ethnicity”. She compares and defends the internment of U.S. citizens during WWII with the modern “War on Terror”. She also defends the governments use of un-Constitutional measures to "ensure our safety".

It is unquestionably illegal and un-American to lock up legal citizens simply because of their ancestry. While I understand the reasoning for it in the past, there is no excuse for it, then or now. Just my opinion, but I think I’m right.

Alex Jones confronted Michelle Malkin on her controversial views at the DNC protests. The exact details are sketchy, and I don't want to get any of the facts or timelines wrong, so I’ll let the videos speak for themselves. These videos are taken from different angles.

To be honest, I saw Malkin on FOX News years ago, and I always liked her seemingly "conservative" views, but this was before I knew about her Fascist ideologies.

McCainiac

The presumptive nominee of the Praetorian-Wolf Party has chosen his running mate, the Governor of Alaska. Now, this governor has previously stated on FOX News that she's not worried about being VP right now, she's only concerned about how Alaska can better serve the United States.

Now, I don't know which is more disturbing: a governor that prefers serving the central government over retaining state sovereignty, or the fact that JOHN MCCAIN JUST CHOSE A FEMALE VICE PRESIDENT!!! Pardon my outburst. Yes, indeed, McCain's VP pick is Sarah Palin. While she is ultra-conservative, government is one of the places that is given specifically to man.

So, here America sits in a political war between Fascism and Socialism. Or is it war at all?
Is it not true that both major political parties are merely two sides of the same coin?

As a side note, I'm sorely disappointed by the Libertarian Party candidate, Bob Barr. He was formerly employed by the CIA, and issues have arisen concerning his morality.

I highly support the Constitution Party candidate, Chuck Baldwin, though; an uncompromising Christian leader who supports the Constitution and adheres to the original intent thereof. Could he get any better?

I finally attained my Apprentice License today, so that I can at least go dove hunting before I take the Hunter Education Course.

Of course, I forgot that I left all my relevant ID at home, so I thought that I would have to get it another time. My Dad told me that I was already in the computer, so I could probably just give them my Social Security number and get it anyway. I agreed to try it.

This all took place at the Sporting Goods section at Wal*Mart, so I got an inexperienced dude that never did anything like this before. I never have forgiven Wal*Mart for them halting the sale of firearms, but a man’s gotta do what a man’s gotta do.

After typing around on his computer for awhile, he asked if I had any ID, and I answered “No,”.

He typed awhile longer and asked for my Social Security number.
I told him my number, hoping no one of questionable legal status was listening in.
BTW, what’s the Spanish word for “eavesdropping”?

He asked for my date of birth, and I told him, “August 30, 1991.”.
He stopped typing and gently shook his head saying, “Um…uh… that would be…uh…”
I knew what he was stammering on about, he couldn’t think of the system format number for August 30.

Dad eventually said, “That would be: 08/30/91.”

“Oh, yeah.”

He typed some more, and eventually printed out the license. I signed it, and after the twenty dollars and fifty cents worth of filthy lucre changed hands, the deed was done.

Dad remembered only after we got home that before I go hunting, I have to get an HIP Stamp for hunting doves. That amounts to an extra fifty cents worth of filthy lucre, to be forfeited another day.

And so, I have thusly realized that the whole of state-run hunting is a racket.

Basically, I have begged my owners for permission to go hunting.

The governor (read: Marxist Dictator) of Kansas, Kathleen Sebelius, is anti-hunter, so I must plead to my overlords in order to hunt:

“Mother Superior, may I please go a-hunting?”

“Have you successfully passed the running of the gauntlet?”

“Yea.”

“Have you given tithe unto the State?”

“Yea.”

“Have you rendered unto Caesar that which is Caesar’s?”

“Yea, threefold.”

“Then you may hunt, my child, after you pay the Agent Fee.”

Frogs in Water

Helena, Arkansas has instituted a citywide 24 hour curfew on all residents regardless of age.
One must have a legitimate reason for being outside of one’s house, even if they are on their own property, or they will be sent back in or arrested.

No, I did not make a typographical error, or misunderstand the circumstances; there is, indeed, a 24 hour curfew for all residents of Helena, Arkansas.

The stated reason for this is the high drug trafficking and other such crimes.
The mayor of Helena said that this is to send a message to the criminals that “they don’t own the town, the taxpayers do”.

I am trying to imagine how it is that not allowing private citizens to go out into their own yard on a sunny day is supposed to show that the citizens are in control.

Have you ever watched the reality television show “COPS”?
Have you ever noticed that they will sit and wait until somebody goes to a “known drug house” or “known drug area” before stopping and arresting them? Well, that’s a great idea! Now, they’ll catch more baddies!

That’s like somebody watching a fire at a mall just so they can slap the wrist of any child that gets to close.
Couldn’t they just put out the fire?

No, that would spoil the big picture.

You see, it’s called “Incrementalism”. If you put a frog in a pot of water, and slowly turn up the heat, the frog will eventually boil to death without feeling a thing, because he is cold-blooded, and his body will adapt to the surrounding environment. It eventually gets to a point where the environment cannot sustain life, and the frog dies.

They are slowly, by design, taking a little bit of that freedom, and a little bit of that liberty, trying not to disturb the sensitive American mindset.

Now, to what end is this plan? What’s the endgame?
The end result for the frog is…a boiled frog.
The end result for America is…what?

I don’t know.

We can only study the facts, and hypothesize the results. Many have done this, with some guessing better than others.

Does He advocate such a blatant mockery of the Throne of God?

Does He accept the practice of strutting about like pompous peacocks while pretending to be "Men of God"?

In 2004, it was Kansas law that one must have a “Bowhunter Education Card” to get a license to hunt with a bow legally. To attain such a card, one must attend the “Bowhunter Education Course”. The courses ran for 10 to 12 hours, and took place in a classroom.

So, attend I did. My Dad and I both went to the Hunter Indoctrination Center to become good subjects of the crown.

For 10 to 12 hours (everything went blank for awhile, so I’m not sure.), we sat and listened to the instructors explain how nobody knows how to hunt, only professionals; nobody knows anything about the outdoors, only trained personnel; nobody knows anything about “Shot Placement”, only Medical Doctors and Anatomists.

Ignorant though we were, we received professional help to overcome our stupidity and unethical tendencies.

“Redundancy” was their motto (no joke; I‘m dead serious.), and with this motto, they admittedly and deliberately said the same thing over and over and over, to break through the wall of our stubbornness.

Thank you for being there, my loving Government! I could have never hunted the right way without you!

In 2007, it became no longer necessary to take the Bowhunter Education Course to go hunting.

To think: I could have waited.

Oh well, at least nobody else has to take that bad old course, right?
Not so fast, you rebellious snippet!

It is now required to take a “Hunter Education Course” in order to attain a Hunting License for anyone 16 years or older. Courses are required to last at least 10 hours, with some averaging 12. Having taken a Bowhunter Education Course and owning a Bowhunter Education Card, I don’t have to take the course, do I?

Yes, I do. Anyone between the ages of 16 and 50 must have a Hunter Education Card to get any Hunting License; Bowhunter Education Card notwithstanding.

I may be attending the very same building that I did for Bowhunting, when I turn myself in for indoctrination.

I’m going it alone this time, as my Dad does not have to attend. I’ll take notes while I’m there, for blogging purposes.

They may try to parent me while I’m there, and act like I'm their child, but I’ll just tell them I already have a Father and he already taught me how to hunt.

As I’m dragged into the indoctrination room, perhaps my compatriots-in-arms and I will be singing “America, the Beautiful”, as a final insult to their Socialist scheme.

If I don’t return, remember my final words:

UPDATE: 8/12: I have decided to take a detour on the Road of Misery, and will be purchasing an Apprentice License, which exempts me from taking a course. Said license may only ever be purchased once, and lasts only until the end of the year. There will be no local Hunter Education classes until October, and I'm going dove hunting in September, so I'm all but forced to do this! You will have to wait until next year to get the full report of the Hunter Indoctrination class, as I will not be attending.
