Oh, my peeps. I know I have been nigh unto a dead link on your dashboard's "Blogs I'm Following" list, but I have not been idling my hours, I assure you.

Facebook has finally caught up with this anti-trendite. (Not a word, I know, but that's the sort of power Facebookers wield.)

Not only that, but I have a job, and I volunteer with a political organization, so, needless to say, my blog is in disrepair. Plus, my background depresses me; I regret that I changed it from my clean, white slate to this loud, obnoxious background which looks like it was copied from a fireworks ad.

Soon, my friends, I will be back in business, and we can get to the OH, SO MANY ISSUES that have arisen since I last posted.

1. Yes, I know it is part of a rather revolting plan on the part of many important and influential people to break up families, specifically to separate children from parents, for the express purpose of raising the child, and the child's generation, creating their perfect citizen.
2. Difficult question, depends on the individual case's circumstances (impossibility/possibility of the baby's survival), but the only answer I can safely give is, "Do no harm."
   
3. My preference is that everyone goes by Biblical standards, "... If a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him, But if a woman have long hair, it is a glory to her: for her hair is given her for a covering."
4. I ain't fancy educated with all that there book learning, and I ain't going to college, neither; but, if one is so inclined, who am I to judge? I would warn against indoctrination, and the general atmosphere of revelry and worldliness, but if one wishes to brave it, knock yourself out.

1. Would you rather see a return to the original U.S.A. or a secession of one or several different Confederations of States from the former u.S.?

1. Very, very, very long answer short, I would like to see the system of government, as set out by the Constitution, implemented throughout the entire continent once again. If the several states of the American section of North America were so determined, I would love for all 50 states to be within the same union. If individual states were determined to remain independent, or to ally themselves with other independent states, it would be an interesting experiment in political science, and would probably benefit both the hypothetical confederation and the federation. I would be very satisfied with either of those two scenarios, and I think results would be favorable for both, as well.

1. I can't tell you, it's a state secret, I could tell you, but then I'd have to kill you, you can't handle the truth, etc. Sorry. Would you like to come over for a barbecue, though?
   
2. I've used everything from can-plinkers to ship-sinkers. I like cap and ball firearms, but centerfires are so fun. I've used all kinds except autos. For obvious reasons.
   
3. I honestly don't know, but I think I have maybe four or five fixed-blades worth mentioning, of varying purposes and dimensions, and more than twenty-five folded-blades.

If you commented on my blog, but it hadn't shown up for a few days, it's because the little, pink wire running from the wall to the computer was broken. For three days.

Oh, the HUMANITY!!!

Yes, no internet access for three days. We thought the modem conked-out, so we didn't even think to open the little cap in the wall to look at that pink wire. We lost connection on Friday, and techs don't do house calls over the weekend.

Imagine my horror. Seven comments to moderate (I read them first), 13 emails to "mark as read" (I didn't read them, mostly junk), and three days of blogging buddies' posts to read.

But, I'm fine now. Did you miss me?

No! You didn't even notice I was gone!

No more Spanish oddities or strange buttons hanging around, mostly due to CarolineNot's help.

I now have my blog where I wanted it in the first place, and we can all heave a sigh of relief!

When in the Course of Blogging Events...

Today was supposed to be a somewhat momentous day, but as the course of events eventually coursed, it has turned into a blogging nightmare.

As you can see, I have reverted to my old blogger template, but not before ruining it further by somehow causing Spanish words to appear in odd places, as well as unsightly buttons at the end of posts.

I'll get it fixed eventually, but until then you'll have to put up with it.

Vexillogical Profile Picture

I get very sentimental over certain things like freedom, the Bible and God's teachings, individual liberty, the Constitution, America... raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens... and profile pics. (And brown-paper packages tied-up with strings; these are but a few of my most sentimental things.)

It was a difficult decision, but I have currently dropped my previous profile picture and replaced it with a little bit of a creative vexillogical artistry. Sort of. I guess.
