Well, former governor Kathleen Sebelius is a defendant in a bioterrorism and mass murder case, and FEMA is doing drills in which they get to use "spy drones" during an emergency, as Kansas is the only state that allows such a thing.

Huzzah for the person who got Sebelius, and drat the luck for FEMA Region VII.

Pentagon Says N. Korean Threat is "Silly"


And this is the first time I have agreed with anything coming from Washington D.C.'s general direction!

How can we take seriously the threat of a " thousand-fold retaliation" and a "merciless military strike" if the U.S. does something NK doesn't like, when they only have a fraction of our military power, and only a few thousand miles of open sea to cross?

They can get away with talking to their citizens like that, and it might affect them, but they seem to forget about the whole "sleeping giant" thing.

I think our policy towards them should be, "Kim, give us back the Pueblo, and we won't send a laser-guided missile through your palace's dining room window," or something like that. No boots on the ground or anything like that, just a simple, short request followed by cooperation or an explosion.

Didn't the North Korean missile program have to be postponed due to the punk getting wet?

I really don't know what to think of him... I honestly don't.

For The Hatred of Ron Paul

I'd be willing to bet you couldn't guess who called Ron Paul supporters "terrorists" first.

Yeah, you know the whole MIAC report coming out about supporters of Ron Paul, among others, being terrorists? It wasn't the first time someone said that.

I watched Glenn Beck on CNN one night in 2007, and I was shocked at what he said. Finally, I've found the video:



I'm sorry to burst your bubble, but using the word "bomb" in reference to large amounts of money is an accepted term, and can even be found in a dictionary. (Entry "8".)

So, Glenn Beck said Ron Paul supporters are terrorists long before the MIAC Report. What did he say after the MIAC Report?



So, now Glenn is buddy-buddy with Ron Paul, making fun of anyone who says Ron Paul supporters are terrorists? I don't get it.

If you've been watching Glenn's show for as long as I have, you'll know about his frequent references to Ron Paul as "the mayor of Looneyville" or "Crazytown", but now he likes him? Could it be that Glenn is capitalizing on Ron's popularity, trying to be more friendly towards him?

I have always loved watching Glenn Beck's television program, as well as listening to his radio show, but I've lately had a great dissatisfaction with him. He seems disingenuous to me.

After saying that he's "rewriting Common Sense" (at least he says he was "inspired" by Thomas Paine), and going on a "Common Sense Comedy Tour", he ceases to hold my interest.

The True Story of PFC Lynch's Capture, as Told by Lynch

Remember her "POW" story? Kinda fell down the "memory hole" a few years back, huh?

I needn't go into any great detail about girls in the military, need I? Let it suffice to say that it's a ridiculous trend.

Lynch continues to refute the "girl Rambo" stories of "shooting until her magazine ran out", when, in actuality, her gun jammed before she could fire a shot, as did several other soldiers' firearms that day.

Also, she was never shot, but had extensive injuries consistent with that of a car accident, likely caused by a collision with another U.S. vehicle when an RPG hit her truck.

The hospital where she was taken had not one enemy combatant, rather a team of nurses who tried to take her to the American lines, but were fired at until they turned back.

Lynch's unconsciousness prevents exact detail of what happened, but it is an oddity indeed that her story was twisted so.

Let this not diminish her amazing story, or the legitimacy of her injuries, as she served honorably; it is, simply put, a strange series of events.

These are prophesied times.

HR 2749 will give power to Washington to micromanage our food producers, something the Constitution doesn't give them power to do. And we all know how well our Congress does at managing things.

A brief lesson in American civics: the U.S. Constitution all inclusively lists the things Congress may regulate and legislate. Food production is not one of them.

Hate Crimes: More Political than Correctness

I certainly hope America will not be taking any political prisoners, as Attorney General Eric Holder wants.

Scenario 1: A man walks into a store and punches someone else. The man is caught, tried, and imprisoned for assault. And, in a sane world, he is put away for a long time.

Scenario 2: A man walks into a store and punches someone else. The man is caught, tried, found to be white supremacist, and is given a much stiffer sentence, because the man he punched had a different skin tone.

Is this the "blind justice" our nation has subscribed to for the past two centuries? The "blind justice" that ended the precedent of people being denied certain rights due to skin tone?

The given scenarios are sloppy and brief, as I didn't want to delve too deeply into the justice system, but this is what will happen in a system incorporating "hate crimes".

But, hate crimes are not just meant for so-called "race-related" incidents, but one's political beliefs in general.

"Hate crimes" will bring about the institution of politics into our justice system, something that must not happen. It is too easily turned against true conservatives, the people the government now calls "terrorists".

It is wrong to harm other people, and you must be duly punished if you do, but government's enhancement of punishment due to politics is also wrong; it mimics Nazism, really.

I am reminded of the famous political allegory Animal Farm:

"All animals are created equal, but some are more equal than others." The last line was added by an illegitimate government of swine, vying for more power by tweaking existing laws.

If you kill someone, because you hate them, isn't that also a "hate crime"?

If you harm another person, whether for their money, or you don't like their politics, or their hair, or their clothes, or the way they drive, you should be punished with equal justice, under the law.

If a Muslim, even an extremist Muslim, walks into a recruiting center and shoots a soldier, he should be punished with the same severity as if he wasn't a Muslim. And the penalty for murder should always be terribly severe, no matter what the circumstances.

That is the American way, and that is the Godly way. To do otherwise is... un-American and un-Godly.

Man Sues Glenn Beck for Defamation

I was wondering when someone was going to.

It seems Glenn Beck, quite erroneously, claimed James von Brunn, a murderer, was a "hero" of the 9/11 truth movement.

Battle of Bunker Hill Anniversary

Tomorrow marks the 234th anniversary of the Battle of Bunker Hill.

More accurately known as the Battle of Breed's Hill, it was a loss for the Americans, but a Pyrrhic victory for the British. Out of over 3,000, 1,000 Redcoats, with a disproportionately high number of officers, were put out of commission as they assaulted the American redoubt on Breed's Hill.

450 out of 2,400 American militiamen were killed, wounded, or captured.

If you commented on my blog, but it hadn't shown up for a few days, it's because the little, pink wire running from the wall to the computer was broken. For three days.

Oh, the HUMANITY!!!

Yes, no internet access for three days. We thought the modem conked-out, so we didn't even think to open the little cap in the wall to look at that pink wire. We lost connection on Friday, and techs don't do house calls over the weekend.

Imagine my horror. Seven comments to moderate (I read them first), 13 emails to "mark as read" (I didn't read them, mostly junk), and three days of blogging buddies' posts to read.

But, I'm fine now. Did you miss me?

No! You didn't even notice I was gone!

I will, for the sake of decency and privacy, withhold the name of the blogger that posted this, but I would like to share the conversation I had with him concerning what he posted on his blog about the FBI monitoring U.S. mosques:

"I, for one, am glad that we are monitoring the mosques in the United States. We did the same thing in Iraq and Afghanistan, and it worked.

I wouldn't care if people were in my church if there was something horrible in which parishioners or attendees were formulating or participating.

A few things:

1. We know that individuals in the United States that practice Islam are raising funds to provide money for international terrorism.

2. Some people in this country use the cover of freedom of religion as a blank check to do whatever they want, and I'm not just talking about supporting terrorism. It happens in every religion.

3. I'm tired of hearing whining from that cabal, CAIR. That group needs to grab the ACLU under one arm, pick a direction and start traveling until they've crossed the U.S. border. Canada is a good place for them."

I commented:

"I couldn't agree with you less.

I will not now, nor will I ever, defend the Islamic religion, but do you think the Federal Government will only spy on mosques?

We already know this administration's definition of "terrorist", and if we condone spying on Americans ANYWHERE, we are allowing the precedent to be set that they can spy on us EVERYWHERE.

I don't care if they spy on people in Iraq or Afghanistan, because those people don't have the freedom of privacy, nor do they seem to want it; but when we are giving the Federal Government carte blanche to spy on us, a power not granted them in the Constitution, I think we've finally lost our mind as a nation."

He responded:

"Firstly, Son3, they aren't actually spying on the mosques. They are listening to individuals.

As for their definition of terrorism, we know that definition is unpopular. They cannot put a new face on that which is already out there. If you aren't doing anything wrong, what do you care?

They are not tapping wires and they aren't in the edifice with a recorder, so lets get that idea out of our heads. There are people in this country that want to do this country bad things. Muller (FBI Director) is not one of these people."

I thought this a good subject to post about, since this is a very important, hot button issue today, on which everyone holds an opinion.

The FBI is engaging in undercover spying. Call it "listening to individuals" if you want, but unless you're listening (with the intent of information gathering) from a pew, or whatever Muslims have, with an FBI blazer on, you're spying.

I really don't know what "tapping wires" or being "in the edifice with a recorder" has to do with anything, or why we should "get that out of our heads", but isn't there something wrong in this country when we defend the Fed's unlawful activities, including spying on us without our knowledge? That's not the America I read about in the Constitution or Declaration of Independence; maybe they have something like that in China or Russia, but not in my country.

This blogger referred to the MIAC Report's definition of terrorist as "unpopular". You think? If you are openly against the murder of babies and are thus a terrorist, I would hope that it's a little more than "unpopular"! I would also hope talking about the Constitution being considered "terrorist activity" is an "unpopular" position as well!

This was the most frightening of all that he said; the classic phrase used by a sheep living in a society run by wolves.

Define "wrong".

Is "wrong" talking about the Constitution? Is it being against murder? Is it displaying the Gadsden Flag? Is it supporting a certain Presidential candidate?

Those things are the definition of "wrong" in this government's dictionary; and that being the case, I do care! I do all of those things, so I have something to worry about.

In February of 1933, Adolf Hitler caused his own Reichstag building to be burned down, blamed it on the Communists, and then arrested all Communists in Germany, even though Hitler's supposed patsy said he acted alone.

Hitler's administration claimed the Communists were planning a putsch, and used this excuse to suspend nearly all civil liberties in Germany; the fire directly caused the unchallenged rise of the Nazi party.

Being afraid of the cavemen terrorists is causing the American people to legitimize the Fed's unlawful attempt at subversion of the U.S. Constitution; and when American Conservatives, such as this blogger claims to be, promote the government's unlawful infringements on American's rights, they are no longer true Conservatives.

Obama, the Great Dictator?




I know this is unlike me, posting comedic videos like this, but I couldn't help but think of Obama when I saw it. From Charlie Chaplin's The Great Dictator:



(I'd recommend the movie, though it contains very Communistic sentiments at the end.)



Obama shares many characteristics with Hitler, including his almost hypnotic speaking ability, his emphasis on hope and change, his emphasis on government ownership of industry, and wanting to be constantly fueling his foreign wars. (Afghanistan, Iraq)

He has a cult following similar to Hitler's, he is pushing for brownshirt-like mandatory assemblies of young people as a second military, and he is for the extermination of innocent lives.

What sort of classless person must Gloria Allred be to proudly display such a button as this?

What kind of miserable person would display this? What despicable abominations must be going on in that woman's head? What sort of demonic forces must be at work in her soul?

Such evil. Many don't use the word "evil" anymore, at least not in the way it should be used. I never knew before seeing her with that button that Gloria Allred was that sort of an evil person. Does she love Josef Mengele with an equal affection?

I only hope she doesn't realize what she is saying with that button. I hope she will change her heart before she eventually leaves this earth.

Man Beaten for Standing at a Street Corner



The other thing with which he was charged was "wandering with the intent to buy drugs"; wow, I wish my local police had the ability to read minds!

So, now we have to have permission to stand on a street corner? Something has got to change in this system, and it must happen before more men, women, and children are abused.

Let us also hope someone gets the man off of the psychotropic drugs so he can get his life, spiritual and physical, back in order.

Giving Back

This is a phrase heard quite often these days, mostly used by the Commies but ever increasingly used by Conservatives. It is so commonly heard that it is almost subconscious, like saying "thank you".

It is because it is used subconsciously by Conservatives that it is most dangerous.

You hear people say, "I've decided to give back to my community by...", but are they even hearing themselves?

Think about it, a person can "give back" something someone else gave to them, but what has a community given an individual? "Giving back" suggests that the individual owes his community.

This phrase follows the line of thought that "it takes a village to raise a child", a very Communistic point of view, and certainly something Americans should shy away from believing.

If it is the unchallenged opinion of a nation that it takes a village to raise a child, and that child must give back to the village if it succeeds, you have the perfect recipe for Communism to prosper in that nation. When it is the common opinion that one should "give back", especially when said in reference to any charitable activity, you are inevitably feeding the mentality of perpetual debt to others, especially the government, local, state, and national.

An individual owes nothing to his community, and anything he gives to that community is a one-way transaction, as the community did nothing to specifically cause that individual to succeed.

An individual does not owe, morally or otherwise, any portion of his time, money, or energy to his community.

What causes our Capitalist system to work at its finest is, of his own free will, an individual giving to people and organizations he favors, as that is the only "redistribution of wealth" that is moral and right.

"Giving back" is a silly and un-American term that should be purged from the American vocabulary.
